Galaxy S24 Battery drain during sleep without apps open or connections

Hi all,

I've bought this phone at the end of 2024 so I've had it less than a year. Since March this year I've been noticing significant battery drain (20 - 40%) during the night.

Last night I charged my phone til 78%, took it off the charger, closed all apps, turned off WiFi and 5G, no AOD, and the battery drained 38% while idle on my nightstand with no app usage noted where I clearly see battery drain. Lately the scale on the right has moved from 0 - 10% to 0 - 20%...

I notice that putting my phone in airplane mode negates this drain but what use is a phone if I can't use it as a phone. I already sent it in for repair but got a report stating that the issue could not be replicated.

I switched from a physical SIM to an eSIM but that had no effect.

If anybody has any idea what could be wrong with my phone, please help me, because I am on the verge of selling it and getting a different device.

Please follow these instructions exactly as written

First, turn off Auto Blocker then follow these instructions EXACTLY as written

Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)

Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.

Turn Auto Blocker back on

Restart device

Wait 14 days for battery optimisation to complete.

Lol, this june update also affected my s24 ultra

Same situation, but I'll definitely use mine before it gets drained

My app uses only about 25% of my battery, while the leftover 75% goes to an unknown realm😂😂

Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely try it. I just returned from a trip where I had NO ISSUE at all. Now after the first night home the drain was 40%. There is something strange about my appartment complex because I dont have any issue in more rural areas apparently...
