I get no notifications on Texts and emails on my samsung 24 ultra

My samsung 24 ultra phone is 2 months old. Prior to a update around 4/1 I was notified everytime I got a text or email. Now I don't get any notifications. I have called samsung and 7 technicians have all told me my phone settings are fine but can't explain why I am not getting text or email notifications. I am really at my wits end with Samsung and even took the phone to one of there service shops with no help.

Does anyone out there have any ideas or have experienced this?

I have the exact same problem. Except it will notify me when I get some texts and then there are certain people like my brothers that the phone will NEVER notify me about. The only way to see i have a new message is to go into messages and click on his name. Which causes me to miss tons of messages from him

@EROCK301: If you're using Samsung Messages, open the app > Tap on a message from any affected contacts e.g. your brother > Tap the 3 dots in the top right of the conversation > Ensure the bell icon in the bottom right corner is highlighted. If it isn't, tap the icon to highlight it, and this will ensure that notification alerts are enabled for this contact.

For Google Messages, open the app > Tap on message or conversation > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Details > Notifications > Ensure that 'Alert' is selected, and a notification sound has been assigned in the 'Sound' category.
