How to Fix the Vivid Display Problem on Samsung Galaxy S24?

It seems that some Samsung Galaxy S24 users have reported a problem with the vivid display color profile, which does not look as colorful as expected. According to Samsung, this is not an issue, but a deliberate design choice to make the display more ... However, some users may prefer a more saturated and vivid look for their display.

If you are one of them, you can try some of the following steps to adjust your display settings:

  • Go to Settings > Display > Screen mode and choose Adaptive display. This mode automatically optimizes the color range, saturation, and sharpness of your display based on the content and environment.
  • In the same screen, you can also tap Advanced settings and adjust the White balance, RGB, and Color temperature sliders to your liking. You can also enable Video enhancer to boost the brightness and color of your videos.
  • Alternatively, you can download a third-party app such as Screen Balance or Screen Adjuster from the Google Play Store, which allow you to fine-tune your display settings with more options and presets.

I hope this helps you enjoy your Samsung Galaxy S24 display more. If you have any other questions or feedback, please let me know. 😊

Try explaining this on here to most of the members who won't accept the answer given out by Samsung regarding the vivid mode issue as it's working as it's intended to be. They insist it's a software problem and waiting for a software update. This sager is going on and on.

Even after adjusting the vivid display, the screen is still not as rich. This lack of vibrancy and saturation has also left me disappointed with the s24 ultra. I'm thinking of returning it and waiting for the s25 ultra or wait till an update that fixes this on the s24 ultra before placing another order. I still can't believe I prefer the display on my samsung m31 to the s24 ultra. It is quite disappointing. Samsung should please give users an option of switching back to that rich and vibrant display. If this continues onwards with their future flagships and if Apple can compete with samsung in terms of multitasking and functionality, then I'm definitely switching to an iPhone in the near future.
