How do i use the S24 Ultra as a Trackpad during Dex in laptop

Hello guys,

Phone = s24 ultra 

i looked all over the phone as well as over the youtube and Internet, but can't find the option to use my s24 ultra as touchpad, (like a mouse cursor), if anyone know, please do let me know,

There's no any option or notification of use as touchpad, pop's up, when i connect my phone with my laptop via type C.

It only says connected to dex.

There's no any symbols shows on the bottom left of the screen, when my phone is connected as dex with my laptop hp omen 17.

i have looked all my phone settings but found nothing, 

If anyone knows please do let me know.

Have you looked in the DEX settings menu? There's an option in there labelled mouse and trackpad (see screenshot). Mines greyed out but check yours because im sure there's a toggle switch in there you can switch on and off that may fix this.

I have read the comments below as well

1. If you connect dex using usb cable, phone as trackpad is not available. (they have remove this option after android 11.)

2. if you connect dex using wireless, phone as trackpad is available. 

I wish Samsung will add this feature even for wired connection as well.

I'm having the same problem.
I checked everything suggested here and couldn't find a way to use my phone as a touchpad, connected via USB or wireless.
There's no notification or icon in navigation bar.

Touchpad won't work when DEX is on a Win10 PC. I couldn't find any way to get it working. If I connected DEX wirelessly to a Samsung TV, the touchpad turned on automatically. Galaxy s23U

once your dex is connected, there would be another icon in your homescreen.

It doesn't work for me with PC win 10. Only with Samsung TV, then the icon appears in the bottom left. It never appears with a PC-DEX connection, the touchpad icon.

But that is no longer relevant. One UI7 no longer supports PC-DEX connectivity.

Hi, I'm looking for a solution as well.   I just had an conversation with a friend and we tested. He has the ultra 22 and it shows up instantly on the side of his phone.   

But the 24 ultra it appears to be missing from the phone.   This might be a bug?   

I tried changing display navigation bar option from a Reddit comment to change to gesture from buttons. Also didn't show the icon.   The dex on the computer does not show anything either and settings doesn't have any option for touch pad.

Quick update. I tried connecting to a TV on my house and instantly got the touchpad on phone. So it seems a disabled feature now
