@buckley2025: What happens when you open the Google app > Tap your profile in the top right > SafeSearch? Do you see the option to 'Filter', 'Blur' and turn the feature 'Off'?

@buckley2025: I have looked into this for you, and Google Support list the following possible reasons why SafeSearch may be locked for you.
- The device or network you're connected to may have locked SafeSearch.
- SafeSearch filtering can be built-in to:
- Public Wi-Fi networks.
- Operating system family protection settings.
- Antivirus software. In these cases, those settings might override your individual SafeSearch setting. Contact your Internet service provider (ISP) or network administrator for more info.
- SafeSearch filtering can be built-in to:
- Your parent or guardian may have locked SafeSearch.
- If your account or device is managed with Family Link, they can set preferences for your account in Google Family Link.
- Ask your parent or guardian about your account settings.
- Your school or organization may have locked SafeSearch.
- If you have a Google Workspace for Education account, your school administrator sets SafeSearch settings.
- Contact your school or organization administrator for more info.
- Your browser's safety settings may have locked SafeSearch.

@buckley2025: Further to the above, have you tried accessing SafeSearch settings on both Wi-Fi and Mobile Data? Is the issue persistent across all networks?

To change your content settings, you need to confirm your age first. Once confirmed, you can change your content settings at any time in your Account.
To change your settings straight away, login to My Account ( https://www.tescomobile.com/customer/account/)and follow these steps:
1. In the section Manage account
2. Click Manage Parental Controls
3. Select the Update button, next to Parental controls and favourite numbers
4. On the Security Settings page, enter or create your PIN
5. From here you can restrict your content to either under 12s, under 18s or 18+
6. If you haven't already confirmed that you're over 18, this is where we'll ask you to confirm your age with your credit card (Visa or Mastercard, sorry no debit cards - if you don't have a credit card, then please contact us. )
7. We’ll use your credit card details to verify this, no money will be deducted from your account.
