Why is HDR content on netflix so dark? Is that not the opposite of what it's meant to be like? My previous phone was nice and bright and fantastic to watch. This is the last issue I'm putting up with. My next device will be an iPhone.

Yes have tried in both modes, it's not a vibrancy issue it's just dull on some videos and yet text and youtube surround is bright and vibrant.
I'm wondering if it's more of an app glitch than phone issue 🤔

I don't have that issue to be honest. I have auto brightness turned off and my brightness is set to around 70 percent. And I have YouTube turned on for the video brightness in the advanced features.

I've decided to get rid of my S24 ultra. I'm definitely going miss the anti glare screen haha that's one of the best things about the device

This is because of the lack of support for Dolby Atmos or some weird implementation from Netflix. This happens on Samsung TVs as well, and the fix is to go into Get Help>Video and turn off HDR.
