I've already posted about this but surely Samsung need to fix this as soon as possible. It doesn't seem like a difficult fix. The stuttering is caused by the refresh rate dropping from 120hz to 24hz while watching content on netflix. Putting it on standard refresh rate doesn't work either as it drops from 60hz to 24hz. Netflix is my most used app but content is unwatchable due to annoying stutter every 10 damm seconds. I will need to returning this device if it isn't fixed. Im not factory resetting or any other pointless step because that will make zero difference. It's an issue Samsung themselves need to fix via an update. get it sorted Samsung!!!!

Interesting I thought it was the apps which decided what refresh rate to use. I amnsure Disney + uses something like 48htz and Netflix was 60htz.

Do you have by chance extra dim ON or adaptive brightness etc ON.

If so try turning them off and see if it helps.

This year the s24 series have too many options which sometimes mess and/or conflict with each other.

I think it's a Samsung issue. I can stop the stuttering if I hold my finger on screen but **** doing that for 2 hour movies.

I don't have Netflix now so can't check. But I do know it used to stay on 60 htz unless something is changed.

I turned on show Refresh rate in developer options. It drops to 24hz on adaptive or standard. On the netflix app anyways. I'm not sure if it does it on other streaming apps. I heard it also happens on hulu app but I dont have that so can't check.

Checked Netflix, Disney+ and HBO on S22+. When set to 120Hz, refresh rate drops to and stays at 24. And when power saving is turned on, refresh rate stays at 60 Hz. No stuttering.

Have you tried with power saving mode turned on? It should then stay at 60Hz.

I use Netflix on S24 Ultra, not having any issues.

Suspect it is a setting either in the App (netflix) or on your phone.

Or is it your internet connection?
