Having problems with background playback with s24.

Certain apps supports background playback such as Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube Premium. Background playback allows the content to play in the background while the screen is off. 

With the s24 the background playback stops after few minute in these apps when the screen is off. Unlocking the phone resumes the playback. My previous phone did not had this problem. Anyone got any solutions? 

Edit: Fixed the issue by resetting all settings and restarting the device.

Straight from the box yes, but real update is coming 22nd of February.

Tbh my appd are fine when the screen is turned off. I don't have YouTube Premium though so all the other apps work when the screen is turned off as they are meant to.

It does work but for few minutes depending on the app. Could you please test it for 5-8 minutes while the screen is off.

@duck6: Please try heading to Settings > Apps > Select an affected app e.g. Spotify > Mobile data > Allow background data usage > On > Back > Battery > Unrestricted. Repeat these steps for any other apps you're having issues with, and let me know if this helps.

Restarting the phone can fix everything. 😂
