Google or Samsung

Hey guys, I just got my S24 Ultra and I can't decide which messaging app to use. Should I go with Google or Samsung? What do you think?

I'm not loyal to Samsung, I've used Pixels and OnePlus devices regularly so it's always Google Messages for me.

Either will do. I think Google's has end to end encryption, but the other person must be using as well. Samsung has a contact tab next to the messages. There is no much to recommend one over the other. You can try both and keep the one you like the best. By the way, toggling from one to the other it is painless.

Best advice is to choose the one you prefer to use. It's all down to personal preference. I prefer Samsung myself, but there are many others that prefer Google.

I prefer Samsung because I can use my Samsung avatars of myself and also it looks more pleasing and one with the phone software.

I come from Pixel and was using Google messages, but it doesn't meet style of Galaxy, so changed my default messaging to Samsung messages and found my inner peace.

Try them both for a few weeks.

  I use the Samsung Phone app but prefer Google Contacts.
