Recents - Gallery App

Anyone know how to get the " Recents " gallery folder to show inside the gallery app again? It's not hidden as it simply doesn't show in the hidden list and also in the 3 dots options I don't have the " Essential Albums " option either

Anyone any idea how I can get my Recents folder back ?

Hi there, @Warlozo. I recommend going to the Gallery app > Click the 3-dot menu on the top right > Select essential albums > Select Recent.

No mate the options had completely disappeared

But stupid me I've just searched settings for Essential and found an option for Essential Albums was somehow toggled off

Enabled that and I now have my Recents album back and the Essential Albums in the 3 dots in top right if the album, so I've no idea how that option was toggled off 🤦
