GALAXY S24 ULTRA OVERHEATING

Ive had the galaxy s24 ultra for about 2 months now. I've been having overheating issues since i got it. And it seems the issue gets worse and worse. 

When im on social media it heats up like crazy. When im listening to music it heats up and when im playing games it becomes unplayable after 10 minutes due to heat and lag caused by heat.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having problems with overheating. I think it may be caused by a rogue app or apps. I don't think it's a hardware issue, at least not at this stage. Now, normally, I'd suggest a hard reset or cache partition wipe and even booting to Safe mode, but I think on this occasion, I'm just going to suggest a complete factory reset.

After the reset, don't install any backups or 3rd party apps or customisations. If you want things like Facebook, etc, then download them from scratch, one at a time.

I know it's a pain doing a factory reset, but I find it's always best to start with a fresh device.

@Whattttt run the diagnostic tool in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything. 

A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

I would second @BandOfBrothers' advice, take it to a Samsung Service centre. The phone getting hot during gaming or social media is not concerning, but getting hot to the point that is not comfortable to hold or use is.

It is important to sort these issues whilst the phone is under warranty.

I have the same problem. I already done factory reset and the problem is still here. I Don t play games.  After using Facebook half an hour phone is too Hot for use.

You gotta install good guardians on your phone and the module *thermal guardian* on it, it works perfect

I went to them and all they said was stop playing games. And ignore the fact that it heats up while im just scrolling on social media or listening to music.
