I've shaken the phone 5 to 10 times, restarted the phone and still no luck.
It's been 5 hours only way I can charge the phone is via wireless charger please help as the phone is only 2 months old!

Kind regards

Hi,

Did it get wet? How bad? Careful if you're trying to plug the charger in! Yes, use wireless for now. Charging port should naturally dry out in a few hours. However, there's no way of knowing if water has gotten inside (despite its IP rating). Leave it overnight. Preferably powered off!

If your phones liquid damage indicators have been activated, then you won't be able to get it repaired under warranty. Hope you have insurance.

This has happened to me years ago.

Use a hairdryer and gently blow warm arm into it ( not too hot ) and don't continuously point it directly at the port to avoid frying the internals !

Try this see if it fixes and then try again later in the day lastly with a restart of the phone. I hope this helps !

No water has got into it or it.

Hi @Lisajayne, and welcome to the Samsung UK Community forum. 👋

If you are still getting the "Moisture detected" message, after trying all of the troubleshooting steps suggested by our Technical Support team, then I would recommend sending us an Error report.

By sending us an Error report, our software engineers will be able to receive data logs relating to the problem you are experiencing. This data is anonymised and only held for the duration of the investigation of the report.
