Galaxy S24 ultra grainy display

I have both ,s23u and upgraded to s24u because of the preorder deals here in uk.

I noticed few issues with my s24u's display:

1. A slight delamination at the bottom of the screen to both corners,exactly the same as s23u had(returned 2 units and the 3rd was perfect) 

2. Brightness on adaptive or not ,indoors, is lower than s23u' display

3. Muted colours on s24u,vivid mode looks the same as natural 

4.Grainy screen ,visible on low Brightness, especially on darker colours 

On the last issue(4), I took some photos where i had both phones on min brightness, on exact same grey background, in pitch black room, used night mode to shot the pics.

Both phones side by side and i straight away i noticed that s24u looks grainy than s23u.

The photo of s24u's display appeared not grainy, but it has some weird pattern, some diagonal lines(check photos) and 3 more visible horizontal lines.

Can you please check if your units has these issues, including delamination

I have found that they're using a similar display to the one they used on the galaxy watch 6

When I bought the watch 6 back on launch I thought they were using inferior oleds compared to the s23u

But appears that the s24u also has this ugly film grain like issues as the watch.

It reminds me back to the S2 days with the blotchy early oleds.

The bars on the display must be a software issue.

Also the distorted upper speaker on high volume.

The s24 ultra seems like such an inferior device this launch 😕

S21 ultra was basically perfect.
S22 had issues.
S23 was also basically perfect.
S24 also has issues, but at this point way worse than all the previous combined.

Got mine Jan 31st. Same issue here. Everything your describing. I also walked into a best buy and a T-Mobile at the mall the other day and all the s24u on display had the same issue. Only noticable on medium to low brightness. Have this issue on my unit too. I compared my 24u display to my boyfriend's s22u and with the same display settings and the s22u looked way better and had no grain and looked more poppy in color

This grain issue is visible on every S24 unit I've seen so far (4-5 units with a + model as well). It's really widespread as well if you see reddit.

Good for you then. My also grain, 3 black bars and banding on low brightness.
