Galaxy S24 Ultra - Battery and Charging Issue

I had my S24 ultra for 10 days now.  Since i got it and until this morning i am having the same issues and nothing is making them better.  The issues are:

  • Battery drains so fast i have to charge the phone multiple times a day.  This phone replaced the S23 Ultra with the exact same settings.  Checking the battery monitor and nothing seems to be draining the battery!!!!!
  • The charger does not always work.  If it doesn't, i have to restart the phone to work again.
  • Charging randomly stops at 80-81%.  i have the battery protection off and it still does that.  

i checked every post on the net and i cant find a solution.  Anybody with the same problem???

Is there a fix on this issue? up until now, i have the same issue with my s24 ultra. once connected and charging it disconnects and charge again for 5 secs, then disconnects again. I tried to do the cache partition clearing and restarted my phone many time and still not working. I haven't done the reset factory since i need to back up my files first.  I had noticed that you need to turn off the Ultra fast charging in your battery settings to charge the phone properly. I'm using both Samsung data cable and the 45W.  it will charge 2hrs top from 10% better than nothing :(. and will drain around 4hrs of heavy usage. SAMSUNG please fix this.

I purchased my Galaxy S24+ in early March to replace my aging (but still great) S20+.  Immediately I had battery draining issues, but was told that it should even out with some time.  It did improve a bit after 3 weeks, but battery life is still vastly inferior to the S20+ it replaced.  Since I've had the phone, all of my fast wireless chargers that worked great with my S20+ actually cause the battery on my S24+ to RAPIDLY DRAIN while on it, and continue draining when I take it off until I reboot the phone.  After months there's still no word on a fix, and that leads me to suspect this is a hardware design flaw rather than something that will be fixed in an update.  Either way, I've never had buyer's remorse like this in all of my time owning phones.  After sticking with Galaxy products for the past 12 years, and now getting stuck with a phone payment on a downgrade from my paid-off S20+, this will probably be the last Samsung phone I ever buy.

I totally agree.. and Samsung company they are playing dump, SHAME ON YOU Samsung,  I paid $1400 for this piece of junk Samsung galaxy s24 ultra..

Could you please tell me the name of the Samsung OEM 45W charger?

 

I have the same problem.

 

I bought two model chargers, but my Galaxy still charges slowly and takes about 90 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.

Same here. 59% in 1 hr 45 minutes.  I have a 7 year old iPhone that stays charged for 2 full days with heavy use. I'm returning it.

it's garbage.  I'm returning it. Had it for 2 months and have to constantly charge it. My 7 year old iPhone lasts for 2 days with heavy usage. They tried to get me to go to a repair shop. Wtf. Its brand new. I'm filing a bbb.org complaint. That's the only way they listen.

I have to admit, the battery issue has been solved by Samsung,  now 100% charger it will remains for a week , YES for a week .. thanks to Samsung last 2 system update. . THEY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

The problem of depleting battery has been resolved  , I personally don't have this problem or any problem with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra,  thanks to last 2 months system update,  which I'm assuming it fixed the " battery problem " 

The phone is 100% SOLID .. PERFECT PHONE
