Galaxy S24+ disappointing camera

I'm incredibly disappointed with the cameras on the S24+. 

I'm in the UK so on Exynos. 

I've come from the S21 (Exynos) and I believe in a lot of ways, the photo quality was better on the S21. 

Photos do not relfect the suggested MP, with photo detail lacking, blurry and grainy.

Despite the S24+ having optical zoom to 3, the quality is worse than the S21 with Hybrid zoom to 3. Again detail is lacking, blurry and lots of noise and very grainy. 

In low light it's awful. 

I'm really hoping this is a quick software fix, coming yesterday, or it will be going back to Samsung.

Whether the S21 has Hybrid or optical zoom to 3 isn't really the point here. My point is, the S24+ camera is ***** and worse than the S21.

It seems some are experiencing problems with camera quality.
You can try clearing the camera app cashe.
It's been talked about in the software update that's due soon. Some camera refinements will be a part of it.
Try tap and hold on the camera app
On the window that opens, tap on the i symbol
Force stop the app

Then again tap and hold the camera app
Tap on the i symbol
Scroll down to storage
Clear the cashe in the option at the bottom

See how that goes

The reduced MP may be a strong reason for this. The S21 used a 64MP binned to 12MP.

I agree with CSBP. The camera on S24 Ultra is worst than S21 or even S10. Samsung messed it up on the S24 Ultra

CSBP. The S24 has a problem with picture quality. Is not as good as the S21 or any other Samsung S series from S10 to S23(I have them all) I compared it with all the others and S24 is the worst of all. Also if you try to record a slow motion(as they took off the super slow motion)video you will bang your head on the wall. If is a fast moving object like a bird of something you not be able to tell what it is. He never said that and I disagree. The S24 Ultra camera is better than the S23 Ultras. My photo's I compared them, the 200MP shots are quite a significant improvement.

Check them on a pc and not what you see on the phone screen. By the way is not 200MP ,is a fake 200MP. You can check the details,

You ever heard of zoom? It's perfectly fine checking them on a "phone" screen if you know what you're actually doing. I've actually checked on my tablets screen side by side too and the colours, clarity and details are all better on the S24 Ultras "fake" 200MP.

Tell me what's fake about the 200MP camera? It takes photos at a resolution of 12240x16320 which is 199,756,800 pixels by my count.
