Galaxy S24+ disappointing camera

I'm incredibly disappointed with the cameras on the S24+. 

I'm in the UK so on Exynos. 

I've come from the S21 (Exynos) and I believe in a lot of ways, the photo quality was better on the S21. 

Photos do not relfect the suggested MP, with photo detail lacking, blurry and grainy.

Despite the S24+ having optical zoom to 3, the quality is worse than the S21 with Hybrid zoom to 3. Again detail is lacking, blurry and lots of noise and very grainy. 

In low light it's awful. 

I'm really hoping this is a quick software fix, coming yesterday, or it will be going back to Samsung.

Have you or are you also using the Camera Assistant in Galaxy Store @CSBP

The S21 is at no disadvantage in zoom as both phones feature a 3x optical zoom lens.

I've been using the stock Samsung Camera App. Is Camera Assistant a 3rd Party Camera App?

I thought the S21 (base model) was 1.1 Optical, Hybrid to 3?

No, it has a 3x Optical zoom lens with hybrid zoom upto 30x.

Thanks I'm comparing to the S21 base model, not the Ultra. I'm confident the S21 Base Model is Hybrid x 3 zoom. Optical to x 1.1

Well unless Samsung are posting false information, it's clearly written there on the site. Furthermore, what exactly is that bottom lens for if not a zoom lens?

It states 12MP + 64MP + 12MP, which is basically 12MP Wide angle, 64 MP main and 12 MP telephoto. I'd see no point having a 1.1x camera alongside it's main sensor.

If you're assuming the link I posted only shows the S21 Ultra specs, it doesn't and I'd advise you check it out. It's clearly listing all 3 models and their specifications (S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra).
