Galaxy s24+ camera filter not working

I bought s24+, and the galaxy camera app is really bad.

When I tried to turn on the face filter, the preview looks great and working fine.

However, after took a picture, the saved files are not same with the preview one.

Why the filter not working? That's really annoying.

Anyone has same issue?

Maybe there's an error on the camera in settings or something like that

Nope, I checked everything, and I used Galaxy from 10 years ago. Only this machine is weird. my Fold4 is still fine.

10 years ago!?!? That is like a really long time ago almost like a decade ago.......but it's only the machine that is weird while you're fold4 is fine.......

Yes, that's super weird. As a software engineer, I'm thinking Samsung AI filter has priority and ignore or override camera in app face filter, but not sure and I minimize AI stuff but still face filter is not working. I hope someone has same issue and know how to fix it.

I spent over an hour on tech support with someone who said I needed to take it in for service because even after taking over my phone and changing settings and tons of troubleshooting it remained the same. I don't know how to report it as a bug it's unbelievably annoying

I have the same problem. In Google Fotos the dynamic filter doesn't work - the message"Function Utra HDR is off" was displayed. The photos in Google Fotos are displayed with high contrast. But when I send the photo to another app, the photo remains unchanged.

I absolutely have this issue, fortunately, I have my S10 Plus still. This is probably the most irritating glitch I have found on this phone to date. 

UPDATE: I "IMMEDIATELY"  grabbed my S10+ and .... They must have updated the software there too, it is not working there either. Grrrrr 😡 

We LITERALLY buy this model phone KNOWING the camera is superior, the software should be superior as well.

I recently also upgraded from S10 to S24 and noticed Final product of pictures saved to device are different from when taking selfies with beauty face filter on. The preview looks good but when it saves it looks totally different. Annoying.

I had that issue for months! 

I went into intelligent optimization and changed it to minimum. Now the filter works!

I think AI takes your filtered (smooth etc) photo and decides to make it more "real" by u doing the filter effect lol.
