esim and sim how do they work?

Hello,

I would like to know if I can keep on both esim and sim card. Like can I receive a phone call from.amy of the 2? Like both of the sim are on at the same time or I have to keep switching. Because today for example I did not got a text until I turned on the esim.

One esim plus one sim card. One of them is default

The eSim would have one particular phone number and the physical sim would have another mobile number on it. 

Each can be configured via the Sim Manager settings @Mirko777777 

You can set dual sim as always on there too.

Not to muddy the waters, but an eSIM does not necessarily have a phone number (that the user sees) attached to it.

You can easily purchase an eSIM online for vacation only for data  (and use WhatsApp for your phone calls).   You would disable your primary SIM while on vacation in this instance.
