Hey @rosemay

Could you perhaps provide us with more information on what 'chip' you're referring to?

It sounds like you just got a new phone and it has damage to the frame, is that right? If so, you should be able to return it to the store if its within 30 days. If it's over 30 days, Samsung warranty only fixes damage that impacts the device, cosmetic damage like chips don't count

@rosemay: Where did you purchase the phone from, and was the device chipped 'out of the box'? If it was purchased from our website at samsung.com, and if it has been less then 72 hours since the delivery date, then you have the option of reaching out to our Shop Team to discuss your options regarding a refund or replacement device.

Alternatively, if the phone was not purchased directly from Samsung, then I recommend contacting the relevant retailer/seller directly for further assistance.

We do offer a repair service, however a chip in the frame would be considered physical/cosmetic damage which is not covered by our warranty. If you are unable to replace the phone following the steps above, and you would like to arrange a repair, then please get in touch via the link below, and an advisor will be able to make the necessary arrangements for you.
