I know it's a rarely used feature among Galaxy Users but can't describe how amazing the feature was. Especially when it got bumped up to 1080p 960fps on the S23 Ultra. Had a few scenarios recently where I wanted to use it, and the AI Slow motion feature on a 240fps video is just NOT the same as a native 960fps video. From a bubble machine, to lighting, to a bee flying. They're not good in AI 960fps. But have captured them beautifully before on the S23 Ultra.
Can you add the feature back or is it gone for good?

uploading the screenshot in separate reply. if you're getting this scrambled number, the device is not hardware capable of doing 960fps and likely software will never fix it.

It should have the hardware for it, surely the camera only improves? I don't know the reason why Samsung disabled it, or stopped doing it.

It is very depressing. The ai is very choppy looking. Very fake.

is that only your opinion? do you have any proof/sources that the S24 and S25 DO have the hardware capabilities to snap 960fps?

Well, logically - they're capable of 8K 30fps, which is 4x 4K, and they can do 4K120fps. Fairly easily too. 1080p at 960fps should be possible.
But no, I'm not a hardware engineer. I don't know for sure if they're capable.

That's not true. The hardware is tuned for specific captures.  All the companies are reaching for higher Mp because that is what people hype up.  I just had to get a new phone and switch from s22 to s25. I'm very disappointed.  I work with vibratory conveyors and the S22 did really good video of the product movement (with a bright flashlight). The S25 is very blury due to motion blur. The AI slow motion can make it look like it's moving much slower but all the frames have the same blur. Fry it was 480 native and then stepped u to 960
