Well that is indeed a conundrum 🤔 as obviously it shouldn't matter which way around the cable is inserted into the phone.
If the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App does not highlight anything then I'd suggest to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/
