Can't seem to find the google search widget on the S24 Ultra?

They seem to have removed the google search widget, which was very useful to me. However, it seems to still be available on other S24 phones, does anyone know how I can get it back? 

I can see the chrome and samsung Internet search bar, but find the google search to be the most useful.

Hey there

If you press on your home screen, at the bottom select Widgets.

Scroll down to Chrome and it is in there.

(I would have expected it to be under Google myself but it is in the Chrome options as it is now called Chrome Search).

That's good to know!   I already had it on my phone brought over I assume with SmartSwitch.  
I wouldn't have thought to look at Chrome in Widgets.

I've had to smart switch transfer my home screen from my previous S22 Ultra, to get the google search widget back, instead of the chrome search widget, which I'm not a fan of.

I can confirm same behavior.  It seems to be widespread.

Google is in the process of replacing it with a new AI widget.  In the meanwhile there are 4 options:

1. Use the circle search enhanced Galaxy version of the widget by long pressing the home button or the nav bar.

2. Use the chrome search widget

3. Search by voice using: "Hey Google"

4. But the real solution is disabling and reenabling the Google app.  That brings back the original Google Search widget.

Yes! Disabling google app and re-enabling brings back the search widget. I had deleted it accidentally and was really searching for ways to get it back. Thanks
