In beta can you still use PayPal and banking applications. I don't use Samsung pay or wallet

Hi @Graykenhill  There tends to be issues with some Banking apps in Beta, certainly no guarantee.  Do you have the Beta,as far as I am aware it is currently full?

No I've done beta a while ago on s10 I believe according to the site I can still sign up for it. Just need PayPal to work and be able to access bank details

You would need to have an invitation on the Members App,   actually it will not be too long till the stable release where you can be more confident about the Banking Apps.

Thanks for the replies.. I'm able to join beta through invite and I know it's quite far through testing.

If you perform a forum search you will find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

If you need banking apps and PayPal to work then I'd suggest to not join. 

I'm sure you are aware the caveat is that your phone can become unstable at the Beta Programme stages occur, and certain apps such as Banking Apps and payment options such as Samsung Wallet and Google Wallet maybe affected. Leaving the Beta either while the Beta stages are still ongoing or the end of the Beta can be rarely problematic. I would suggest to not download the Beta onto your daily driver if the above are important to you personally.

As far as I know there are no issues with banking apps.


I had issues with my Wise bank and I tweeted them and said it was not working with beta

Also I logged via Web and somehow after a while it started working.

Not sure what worked but now all my banking are working great since beta one. 😊
