Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

It's been about 10 days since my update and my devices battery usage is absolutely horrible. I get maybe 4 hrs on a full charge. My Ultra use to hardly drop any, and would last all day and barely get down to 40% after 12 hrs.

   Something is not right. Any sugestiins?

It's something that samsung will fix soon. You could try by wiping the cache partition on your phone and see if it makes any difference.

It's the same with every device that samsung has released. It's something that will get fixed on an upcoming update.

Yes... same problem with my S24FE just updated to April 2025 one UI 7.0... battery drain more faster than usual... do you guy have any solution ?

My s24u is fine, lasts for at least a day and a half if not more, took my phone off charge yesterday morning and I have just put it on charge with 14% battery left

Weather affects battery performance. Warmer days reduce run time, bare this in mind.

Expected after a major Os update.

Give it two weeks to settle.

Meanwhile, keep checking for app updates in both Samsung and Google stores.

New ui7 update? Give it 12 days to calibrate.

2 minutes isnt exactly usable to say fast battery drain- keep using device and let it drop to about 25% and then report how long its lasted
