Here we go yet again with the instructions

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer USBC to USBC (you may also connect to another Samsung mobile via USBC). Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

And again for those who don't search first, you must follow this one EXACTLY AS WRITTEN

First, turn off Auto Blocker then follow these instructions EXACTLY as written

Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)

Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.

Turn Auto Blocker back on

Restart device

Wait 14 days for battery optimisation to complete.

We did a clear cache, in line with instructions from Samsung, almost the same as you said, but not exactly.   But can this really be the issue?  It didn't change my wifes S23 performance, and hasn't improved the shockingly slow wireless charging of my S24 since the update.  Then we haven't waited 14 days, but Samsung need to sort this.  Doing technical things, and then waiting 14 days is not a solution.  Many will feel the solution is to walk away from Samsung.  Many will do this.  Samsung need to act now.

After the may update

Here are my observation earlier full charge used to show that it will last 21 to 22h ( not a heavy user as well)

Now the full charge is showing 12 to 13 h available only , this is huge drop .

The purpose of waiting 14 days is to allow your device to recalibrate battery settings.

It is just the way it is. It may happen sooner but we recommend 14 days.

Putting out an update which might screw up someones phone for 14 days isn't good enough, if we are being honest. These things should give instantaneous improvements only, not long winded hindrances.

Easy to achieve.....

Samsung could simply turn off battery calibration. Everyone will then have less battery life.

Battery calibration is designed to improve battery life and has been very successful. I easily get 10 hours plus Screen On and similar screen off on a full charge which is the best I've had for an Ultra device ever.

They made a new update recently. Still sucks. It might be a tad better, but not much.

Way to go samsung. Ruin a 1500€ phone.

Guess once if I'm buying from you again.

Pitty.

Such a good phone. Such a pitty.

Anyone has any hints on what to buy next? Do we really have to go the odious apple route?

Yes. Same with me, and my S23 ultra. After update, battery drains extremely fast. A lot faster than before, where itd last a day, and through the next morning. Now, at 100% battery, and is gone before I can believe it. Is Samsung attempting to set everyone with a faster draining battery,  to influence us to purchase a newer phone? This phone was a beast before the update...
