To add to this, charge your battery to 100%, fully discharge it to 0%, then charge it again to 100%, and use your phone until it turns off (discharge it to 0%). Do it in two cycles, as I pointed out. That seems to have done the trick after following the steps highlighted by @Piper123

I have exactly same issue after update in my Samsung S24 Ultra with One UI 7.
Someone suggested to make Wipe Cache partition and I did the same. Nothing happen.

Hello,

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to One UI 7, and since the update, I’ve been experiencing significant battery draining issues. Before the update, I could comfortably go through an entire day on a single charge. Now, the battery drops rapidly even with minimal usage.

Here are some key points:

  • Device: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

  • Software: One UI 7 (latest update)

  • Issue: Battery draining much faster than before the update

  • Battery Usage: No abnormal apps detected, but the battery graph shows faster decline

  • Troubleshooting Tried:

    • Cleared cache partition

    • Checked for rogue background apps

    • Reduced screen brightness and background activity

    • Disabled high refresh rate and location services

Despite all this, the issue still persists. Has anyone else experienced similar problems after the update? Any known fixes or recommendations?

Samsung team, kindly investigate this and provide a solution or patch. This issue is seriously impacting daily usability.

Thank you.

Yes, I am also facing the same battery drain issue after updating to One UI 7 on my Galaxy device.

  • Battery percentage drops even when the phone is idle.

  • I noticed faster drain during normal usage, especially with social media apps and camera.

  • I’ve already tried clearing cache, checking battery usage, and disabling background apps – but no major improvement.

Samsung, please look into this. Clearly, it’s not an isolated case.

Post a screenshot of the battery usage. Instagram and Facebook are reported as causing issues following latest Google patches

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Have a look here:

Look for the comment about entering the # code. (*#9900#)

Note: There are also significant reports of Pixel users experiencing the same thing; it could be Android 15. I am unsure—I haven't experienced it myself.
