Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I am also facing this issue after updating s24 ultra to one ui 7.My battery is now not lasting a day.

It's been 4 days since I updated to ui 7. My battery is still draning. Before this update I got over a day. Now I have to charge it twice a day now. So annoying............

Same here. A lot of ppl have been complaining about this. I've tried wiping cache partition and it doesn't help.

i don't know whats happening with yours but mine is the opposite. You can try clearing Cache partition from phone recovery mode. Search it on Google

I already went into recovery mode and wiped cache partition.  Still didn't help. Il see how it goes in next few days. Then il do it again.

Yeah same here my battery on my S24 ultra is drainage is alot faster sine updating to one UI 7 i've cleared all apps cache and carried out galaxy app booster and still no difference battery draining faster than before one UI 7

There have been multiple threads on this already this weekend.

You need to give your device the 14 day battery optimisation period similar to that when you get a new device. It needs to learn your usage pattern based on the new OS

It's always advisable to wipe cache partition of the phone after major software updates like one ui 7, i do own s24 ultra and battery life is same as it was on one uo 6.1 and haven't noticed any difference at all, also as mentioned battery will go through new optimisation.
