Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I'm going to put my S24 ultra into a blender. I already cleared the cache partition. Has improved nothing. This is the last Samsung product I will ever buy

thats why I got a google pixel 9 pro xl on 15 android new in box late last summer and android 16 in June/July so what's Samsungs hold up I got ui 7 but was a complete disappointment and a supposed bug fix update for Korea only and now samsung servers showing ui 8 for s 25 series and z 7 series??? and f.ck s 24 series and z 6 series??? I saw this coming late last summer  but well maybe not true but a nightmare came true I wish to god samsung goes down the toilet like the tidy bowl man.. pathetic flagship ever now not the king now.. I see another Nokia out of samsung a thing of the past they lost faith in buyers now ha ha.. the razr flip plus 2024 has android 15 sony devices also had 15 samsung rolls out a messed uo ui 7 15??? what a joke...well they copied apples feature for the past few years and karma is a b.itch I hope apple sues them

Huge drop in battery life since installing One UI 7 on S24 ultra.  phone lost ~20% while sitting on my desk, untouched, for less than 3 hours.  not using always on display or other lockscreen widgets. 

Definitely having to recharge my phone throughout the day, even with minimal use.  

Oddly, didn't have significant battery drain while streaming.  fell asleep with appleTV+ running in chrome and when I woke up in the morning the battery read 73%.  

(yes, I see the irony in an android device streaming appleTV via Google chrome ha!)

I put my S24 ultra into recovery mode via usb connected with my Tab S8 plus and I cleared the phones cache and since that my battery life is much better

That's a shame BUT I feel very similar to you IF? Samsung with the S26 ultra doesn't implement ALL these things i might look elsewhere for my next mobile phone company like oppo or honour Samsung much upgrade the S26 ULTRA with a 6,000mah silicone carbon battery 65W super fast charging upgrades ALL the cameras hardware and Bring back Bluetooth S-Pen functionality

I put my S24 ultra into recovery mode via a usb cable connected to my Tab S8 plus and put it in to recovery mode and cleared the phones cache and since this the battery capacity has improved BUT still not lasting quite as long as before the one UI 7 update but much better than before clearing the phone cache

Update has ruined my phone and they wonder why people switch to apple! Don't fix anything that isn't broken!!!!!

Same here. I used to make fun of everyone and their iphones. First time I ever thought about switching. Samsung is bunch ***** now.

Never had any issue until this horrible update. I am beyond pissed. Looks like I'll be getting an iPhone sooner after 15 years!!
