Battery drain issues

So, last few days I've noticed significant battery drain on my S24+. Not using it any differently to usual, but drain is significant. I've also noticed that when checking on Settings, the usage figure there does not match the "remaining battery" icon. Usage says only 34% and the app usage shown there adds up. But battery remaining says only 32%. The usage start would match what I would expect, so only 32% remaining is pretty bad. Anyone else noticed the same and/or knows a fix?

Yes- a lot have reported this. By the looks of it pixle users are also giving reports so may be Android 15- using ui8 beta and seems to be a lot better.

Have a gander at the forums- plenty of troubleshooting.

On some sites it states that the battery drain effecting Google pixle devices on Android 15 is due to a bug in Instagram and that Google states it's now been fixed. Not that this will help Samsung phone thou unless that bug is more widespread than suggested.
