I just got my s24 ultra and the battery life is horrible! I've read a lot of posts from a lot of other pep saying the same thing. I had this problem with my s22 ultra but this phone is way worse! I have power saving on. I have it on 60hrz which happens anyway when you cut power saving on. I have 1080p on which also sets when you have battery saver on. I have dark mode on and screen turned down and battery is still draining fast. I gave Samsung another chance because I kept reading about how amazing the new s24 battery life was. Boy do I regret this decision. It really drains fast and gets hot while using YouTube. I've read a lot of posts saying that it's prob with youtube. I do believe something is going on with youtube because it does the quickest and gets hot while only using YouTube and YouTube only. This was a huge letdown. I believed Samsung and got burned badly. I was wondering if maybe you knew as to why this happens?

Excellent choice on the S24 Ultra. In the first 2 weeks, your phone begins learning your usage patterns to optimise your new phone accordingly. You can find this information along with tips and tricks on the link below.

As for your YouTube app, we recommend making sure it is up to date through the Play Store > Tap the round icon in the top right > Manage Apps and Devices > Updates Available. Failing this, try resetting the app back to square one through Settings > Apps > YouTube > Force Stop > Storage > Clear Data > Restart the phone > Reopen the app and log in.
Low signal can cause the device to work harder, resulting in a temp increase and increased battery drain as it tries to maintain a weak connection. Even more so with 5G in a low signal area. Ensuring good signal strength, either through Wi-Fi or Mobile Data, can help alleviate the strain on the battery and performance.
