Battery Drain - Samsung Language Core

Hoping someone here might be able to help me, I have now had my S24 for about 6 weeks. In the last couple of weeks my phone has had battery drain issues and I will find that it has just died on me which is really not great. The culprit seems to be the Samsung Language Core app, I have tried to restrict background usage and some of the other tips posted by others online by nothing seems to be working.

Please can someone help, the phone is not usable with this kind of battery use as it dies when I am out. Screenshot below of the usage yesterday....

Hi.

I would strongly suggest you first reset your settings only under Reset and see if it makes a difference.

The language core as far as I know is an integral part for AI translations and stuff and there is a possibility you just some setting that it is trying to access and can't resulting in the battery drain.

Next I would also look at doing a Phone 'Wipe Cache' If the above doesn't help.

Please try the first option and report back how it goes.

Thanks for your reply, I reset settings last week and it has not come back since then, I have not seen it once listed as using battery since the reset.

Guys

Also keep checking for app updates and with newer app updates bugs gets squashed as well.

Make a habit to check manually once a week. Both for google and samsung.

I had the same thing since yesterday. Battery draining in hours and phone so hit I was worried it would explode. Tried turning of and all the other possibilities, nothing worked. In the end I uninstalled the app and all the various voice apps that appeared at the same time. Phone now back to normal. I’m not sure what the language core does but I haven’t had any problems so far

The same thing happened to me. Forty percent of my battery disappeared, and I found my phone had turned off.

I am paying with my phone; I have my identity card in it, and so on.

Please fix the issue!!!
