Ive recently changed from apple to a samsung s24 ultra and i cant get android auto to work.
Tried a usb a to c cable tried with a diffrent car nothing seems to be working
Both cars just say connect usb. The phone does charge whej plugged in

Yes try switching off autoblocker and see if it works without usb debugging on and if not try with USB debugging on and see if any would work

Have you tried USB C to USB A original Samsung cable? As sometimes issue is within the cable and needs to be USB C to USB A cable.

I dont have one as my ohone came with a c to c cable from samsung

That might be the issue try to get USB C to USB A cable, that's the issue with the cable connections via Android auto.

As some reported they used bunch of cables but in the end there's the one official or high quality one that worked.

I've also seen that it worked after car software update, or reseting cars settings, but i suggest firstly try and get USB C TO USB A cable.
