Hello everyone, I would like to inquire if any of you have encountered challenges with the 5G network following the February update. My connection frequently fluctuates between 5G, 4G, and E, resulting in intermittent freezing and buffering.

Same issues. 5G & 4G won't work unless I go in the menu and manually switch to 3G (E), then switch back to 4G & 5G. I have March security update too. Have tried everything. Updating API settings. Switching from a SIM to ESIM. Contacting Vodafone gave me nothing but recommended to visit samsung or send it off. I'm pretty sure it's software related.

I have also received the March security update, which I had hoped would resolve this issue. However, despite my comprehensive efforts, the problem persists. I am a customer of EE and have never encountered this issue prior to the February update. I have reached out to Samsung, and they have acknowledged the issue and are investigating it. However, I have yet to receive any further updates.

@Stevie_G_ as a test can you go intonyour connection settings and switch to 4G / 3G / 2G to see what happens please.

Also sometimes miving a physical sim card from one slot to the alternative sim slot ² can help.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I've had samsung for years. Had the fold 3 prior to the 24 ultra. Never had a issue. Since upgrading this has been an issue

Thank you for your feedback. I have attempted both of your suggestions, unfortunately, without success.

Are you able to try your sim card in another phone @Stevie_G_

Have you tried to wipe cache on your phone? It seems to help.

Unfortunately not. But it was absolutely fine before the February security update. It never dropped from 5G; it always ran at high speed and maintained a good connection.

May I please ask which network you are on? Vodafone and EE have just turned off 3g and are repurposing spectrum. Whilst unlikely, could it be your issue?

Also, have you checked with your provider as to whether they are performing maintenance in your area? That may also affect connectivity.
