The colour looks more natural on the 12mp mode but they will be a lot who disagrees. 50mp makes them more yellow in colour wise.

I agree with you. The 50mp really oversaturates the image

Idk but I like both and I don't mind any. I think it depends for what purpose you want to use the picture wether you chose the natural one or the saturated one. I think I'd chose the saturated one because it looks like it's got more life in it.

The color rendering on the 12MP blows the 50MP out of the water. This is yet another prime example of how the 50MP shots processing kills the photo. There should be no such color difference at all! SMH...

Personally I prefer the 12mb image here from @Haytch.

Remember though, only a week ago people were complaining about a lack of colour, now complaining about too much. 🤪🤪

I think they were complaining about the display issue mainly as it was dull.. The 50mp has always been oversaturated and overly hdr'd

Actually there should be a difference until the cameras lenses are tweaked. If you follow any of the Samsung flagships since the S20 Ultra, you'll know this is quite common and still is.

It's a common problem since the S20 Ultra. The 108MP and now the 200MP always produce different colour and vastly different processed images, especially as natural light is reduced. I think what people notice now is how oversaturated the Snapdragon ISP tends to favour vs Samsung Exynos. I've seen this over the years. Some will like it, some won't.

After this update I am happy with my phone and I can say that Samsung is the leader for sure. My camera is much better now. Only thing I noticed when I take pictures in a pitch dark room or mildly lighted, the default night mode it's gone, I never used dark mode, because it was default, and I don't know if it's the same as when you chose dark mode from the menu, but I liked it because the pictures were only like twilight lighted, while on the dark mode you chose from the menu they almost look like daylight, which is absolutely fine, but I liked it alot before too.
