Turning off start notification for sleep mode

Hello, 

I've recently turned on sleep mode so that I don't keep getting notifications throughout the night. However, now I've run into a new issue I can't work out how to fix. Last night I went to sleep earlier than the start of my sleep mode routine turning on and, when 11pm hit, there was an alarm that went off (like the usual wake up alarm) signaling the start of sleep mode. This is obviously counterproductive to wanting to stay asleep once asleep so how to turn off any alarm or notification sound for the start of sleep mode?

I just pulled down on my home page and there it was so I turned of notications  and silence no more notifications

I deleted the Sleep Mode completely from Modes and Routines, and have been using Do Not Disturb, but my phone still announces the end of the Do Not Disturb period with a beep. My previous Samsung Galaxy A10 did not have "Modes and Routines" and Do Not Disturb worked fine there. So I can only assume it is the "upgraded" feature of Modes and Routines that is the problem. Unfortunately I can find no way to uninstall Modes and Routines (which is useless, as I don't need my phone to have special auto-settings that it turns on/off when it thinks I'm doing something) and even though Modes and Routines is set to silent (no way to turn off notifications altogether, either!) it keeps doing this. I don't want to extend Do Not Disturb to a late hour, because I want to be able to get notifications if they do come in in the mornings, but I don't want to be woken earlier than necessary by my phone letting me know it's morning! How do I get rid of this obnoxious and pointless program?

You know, that ALMOST worked. Except the option is unavailable. It APPEARS but is not selectable.

I did set notifications to silent, though, so we'll see what that does.

Im having the same problem. It's really frustrating. I've gone into the menu above but the toggle for digital well-being in inactive. 

The sleep mode notification "alarm" either wakes us at night or in the morning. As my girlfriend says, "it's not a smart phone, it's a dumb phone".

How do I turn off this notification as per the question above. Please help.

Hi, I think I found out how to turn off the alert at long last. I tested it by disabling sleep mode and having it turn itself on shortly after, and it made no sound or buzz anymore when doing so.

Settings > Modes and routines > 3 dots in the top right corner > Settings > Notifications > Silent

The last time I tried that, it turned off all notifications, even the ones you want to let through. You should test it.

I managed to at long last "outwit" this "feature" by first, setting Sleep Mode to end one minute before what my regular Do Not Disturb period was set to, and then deleting Sleep Mode from the modes available in the Modes And Routines app altogether. I did this some weeks ago, and it hasn't beeped at me since, although I also haven't changed my Do Not Disturb time period, so I'm not sure if it's truly "dead" or just trapped in muteness (and I haven't wanted to muck about with it, for fear of summoning it back again!).

Any progress on this? It's apparently been 3 years and the issue persists. If the sound profile is set to sound (instead of vibrate or mute) initially and you disable the routine a come will play no matter what. 

Even if you turn all the sounds on your phone off, it will chime at the same annoying volume everytime. How is this a thing?
