How do you get notifications to turn the screen on screen

Been trying to find a way to make my screen turn on when I get a notification. ? I don't know if the only way is to turn on brief in pop up- styles its much better detailed pop-up style but if that the only way you can do it then have to be there used to a wake screen setting but no where to be seen any help be most appreciated! 👍🏼

Have you tried the edge lighting feature.

Try settings > notifications > notification pop-up style > edge lighting style > select one and customise duration
