Sorry guys I know I have literally just posted abut my issue but this one is urgent.
Ok so as stated in my last post, my phone is going through a bit of a techno-tantrum and its screen is A) Not got a backlight so I cant see anything on the screen, and B) Touch only works with the S-Pen. I have tried every solution under the sun but thats for the other post.
In the mean time, I really need to get on with some work and as I am out of the office (its been a bit of an emergency change of plans, so i am unprepared for this), wont have access to my PC, but I did bring my laptop in a final panic idea before i left this morning. I have been using the Link To Windows app since my issues began, and it has been a godsend. I have had my work phone which Ive just ended up using since the issues but this phone is linked to a lot of personal stuff, which doesnt get used often so i havent really needed a reason to move everything over, I wanted to, but endlessly procrastinated . Annoyingly its the opposite on my PC, most of my online browser stuff is linked to my phone. The only reason I point this out is because I am more than likely going to need to access things on this phone, but am gonna get locked out by the "Content Block" and actually have to verify accounts and stuff which I feel may cause some big issues if I even attempt (Lock bank, etc)
By Content Block (the apps words not mine) I mean the alert/splashscreen that appears on the casting screen when you are on a page that is asking for sensitive data, its a pretty good feature, but is there a way to turn it off for the time being so that I can log into things/see verification stuff, etc.
Oh right yeah I forgot to mention the main issue here, I lost the pen last night. The touch hasnt worked without the pen since the AI update thing, but the black screen is so inconstant. And I am always leaving the pen places but usually if the screen is showing you can easily see where you need to click on the content covered screen by looking at the phone screen, but the one day im out for an emergency meeting, and the one day I actually need to use this phone, i have both issues and will be taking a huge risk in trying to do things with the content cover.
Any way around this? I've gone through all of the settings/dev settings and cant see anything related, but the last thing I developed was a bad cough even that felt poorly coded and heavily untested before release so I should just go back to the safety of the wallpaper settings before I develop myself some more issues lol.
Annoyingly there is a similar thing come up when casting a lot of devices with a lot of different error messages, mine has no error message, but the google results are soo flooded with clickbaited paid for top results, going onto page 2 felt abit weird but oof i kept going, into the abyss, back into the land of early 0000's internet when going past the first 4 results was normal. Now days this is eerie and gets darker the further you down you go so I think I'm gonna head back to the safety of my google homepage before I develop myself some kind of Ancient early 2000's internet curse.
