I fixed this before but since having a new motherboard I've lost settings

My screen makes me unlock it every 10 mins now
But I have had it so it never turns off

I have done developer options but it still does it

Sure I'm missing something

Can someone help please. Thanx

have you changed the screen timeout to Keep screen on while viewing

Yeh that's on. So I thought that would do it tbh as it should
But it keeps locking now after 10 mins which is annoying especially with maps in a car etc or games

There's the stay awake setting in dev options, but that's only when charging.1722688883849_1722688883842_0.jpg

Yeh and that doesn't work either. Just tried that and it doesn't stop the screen time out from coming on
Very weird as I managed to get rid of this on this exact phone before I had to get it repaired so it is doable

Might be one to ask Samsung directly via your Samsung Members App under the Ask a Question section @NinaWildeUK  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

@NinaWildeUK: While I understand that this isn't what you're referring to, you can head to Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Keep screen on while viewing, and toggle this option on. This feature uses the front camera to detect your face, and should help with any timeout issues you're experiencing while gaming. I'm not sure how effective it will be as a solution while using navigation apps, however, but I hope this goes some way to resolving your issue.

There is also Extend Unlock (Settings > Lock screen  > Extend Unlock) which keeps your phone unlocked when you're holding the device, near home or another trusted place, or your Watch or another trusted device is nearby.

That's always turned on "keep screen on while viewing"

The extended unlock is a good idea .. but ive never used it so that wasn't one of the settings I had for sure but it is useful
