Stop modes overwriting each other

Is there a way to stop a mode automatically starting if I am in another mode? 

I currently have my sleep mode set to come on at a certain time in the evening. However, I don't want it do this if I happen to be out at that time. 

Is there a way to stop the auto turn on of the sleep mode while in another mode or if multiple conditions are met for example such as connected to home WiFi at a certain time?

Put a location rule in the mode.
So when location Home turn ON if not OFF .

Routines are better than modes I believe for such things.

But it says it turns on when any one of the conditions are met which means it will turn on as soon as I get home rather than at the desired time?

Unless you turn it off and on manually with the widgets.


I'm sure it can be done
