Camera and video setting for S23 ultra instagram

I'm using the S23 Ultra. The quality of the photos and videos I upload to Instagram is decreasing, even though the "Upload in highest quality" option is active. How should I set up Pro photo and video modes for daylight and night shooting without quality loss?

If the photos are fine on your phone, then reduce in quality once they're uploaded. Sounds like Instagram is just trying to save money by reducing image quality

Like photos on WhatsApp, Instagram and other social media platforms photos and videos get compassed once you upload them.

Hi and welcome. I have had this issue with both intstagam and Facebook, both meta. When you upload photos to these platforms they compress the original file as most are too large for them, this in turn reduces the quality of the image. I hope this helps .

I get the same problem with whattapp they get compressed iPhone air drop is better you can upload better videos but it saves it to the cloud then the other user needs to click on a link to much faffing around for me so I never bother
