Spotify stops on S23 Ultra

Has anybody got a way of making Spotify to keep playing when phone is locked. 

I am trying to play my music in my car via Bluetooth and after a while it stops playing. 

I open up the phone and press play and it starts playing. 

Any help appreciated.

Try launching Spotify > Cog Icon > Spotify Connect in the background @PeterInYork

Sounds like it could be restricting the background usage. If you hold down on the Spotify app icon, click the 'i' and then battery, check it's showing optimised.

@PeterInYork: Further to the above, please head to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Mobile data > Allow background data usage, and make sure that this is toggled on. Furthermore, head to Settings > Lock screen > Widgets > Music, and toggle this on.

Thanks for your input on my problems with Spotify cutting out. I have tried all the solutions above and it is still cutting out. I think the issue started after the last phone software update.

I have the similar issue on my S23. In my car I connect my phone via cable (USB-C - 3,5 Jack) after a while the sound is gone in the car when I play music from Spotify (downloaded tracks)

Situation is same with YouTube Music as well. I am always driving with running Waze navigation and Spotify plays music (Opel Astra J) If I check Spotify the time counter is running so the music play did not stop, but no sound from the car speakers. If I push pause and play again the music starts but after a while same things happen. 

I did not see any notification received when the sound is gone. 

Spotify notifications are allowed only on screen, there is no sound notification or no any driving instruction from the phone (only the screen)

I already delete and reinstall Spotify, take out Spotify from sleeping app list, phone software is updated since it is started but nothing helps to solve this issue.

Is there any advice from somebody who succesfully solved this issue.

Me too, same issue and none of the suggested actions helps. I will now download my playlist and see if that helps.

This is such a bullshit response for any of this that Samsung cannot figure this out.

For some reason i cant even see Spotify when i am searching for apps to add to unrestricted use battery etc

Samsung ULTRA s23

Its been like this since i got the phone in November. Now its soon march.

Driving me crazy because the Bluetooth i use screams at maximum volume CONNECTED everytime she reconnects and that is randomly.

Cant figure this out at all.

I am.usinng nova launcher and that was set at optimized and not unlimited.

So perhaps that will fix it..i am trying now.

So check all launchers and etc
