Solution to Missing smart select in 6.1+

It seems lot of people are disappointed with missing smart select feature in UI 6.1+ and that's only available in edge panel. 

I found a way - create an action shortcut through third-party app like activity launcher and put that as goodlock onehand+ long swipe as shortcut or use the short cut directly from home screen.

Works for me.  Hope this helps

PS: somehow didn't like the new animated version of smart select.

Do you have rooted phone? For my Samsung S22 option "com.samsung.android.app.smarts elect.preview.RectanglePreviewAc tivity" is disabled, need to root.

So how did you do working shortcut to activity "com.samsung.android.app.smarts elect.preview.RectanglePreviewActivity"?. Or maybe it's different activity? What phone do you have? Thx for reply.

  i use s23. Unrooted.

You have this in side panels -> applications, turn it on in three dots menu.

I thought you are talking about old "intelligent selection" method.

This new Ai thing start slow on S22. There's a 1-2 second lag when i launch this new Ai powered smart select function...
