Hi everyone!!

Does any one know or is it possible to set reminder every hour during the day for particular number of hours (say from morning 9AM to evening 6PM), and this reminder for weekdays ie from Monday to Friday. This should be set forever.

In a nutshell, is it possible to set the following conditions in one reminder....

1. Reminder should be every hour
2. It should remind between morning 9Am and evening 6pm or (whatever time is set)
3. It should be during weekdays only or specified no of days in the week
4. Should be set to forever until modified or cancelled.

Is it possible in samsung/google reminder or calender ? Or can it be configured somehow in samsung device?

Thank you
Kind regards

I use my s10 for my daily alarm. It's currently set for 5 days at 4am, if I have a day off then it's turned off for that day.
But have you looked at the settings and search for reminders and see what your phone can do.

Dear @nowdeleted, it looks like you didn't understand my query properly. I'm talking about setting reminder for any particular things to be checked such emails , messages etc. (I understand that for notification can be set for every hour for mail, messagw etc.) But here im talking about reminder, which needs to be checked every hour with certain conditions for which reminder alert should trigger. I think which can be done only by coding or through routine mode (with condition given in samsung phone) and not in reminder app where in you can only put one to two conditions to set reminders. @samsung should look into this to update reminder app to make it more advanced. Thanks

In Google Calendar, you can set up reminders. You can select the days and the time for the reminder and the end date ( you can set it to never). For each activity, you will have to setup a separate reminder. It will remind you once a day at the chosen time.

Indeed, the 1st condition cannot be set in the Google Calendar reminder.

Yes, it is possible to set a reminder with the conditions you mentioned using the Samsung Calendar or Google Calendar app on your Samsung device. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Open the Calendar app on your Samsung device.

  2. Create a new event or reminder by tapping on the "+" or "Create" button.

  3. Set the title and other details for the reminder as desired.

  4. Set the start time for the reminder to 9:00 AM or the desired time in the morning.

  5. Set the end time for the reminder to 6:00 PM or the desired time in the evening.

  6. Set the repeat frequency to "Every hour" or specify the desired interval.

  7. Set the repeat days to "Weekdays" or select the specific days of the week (Monday to Friday) that you want the reminder to repeat.

  8. Choose the "Forever" option for the duration or specify the desired end date for the reminder.

  9. Save the reminder.

The above steps may vary slightly depending on the specific calendar app and version of Android you are using on your Samsung device. However, most calendar apps should have similar options to set recurring reminders with specific conditions. If you have any trouble setting up the reminder, you can refer to the help section or support documentation of the calendar app or contact Samsung support for assistance.
