@AngJ65: You may also wish to head to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Volume > Use Volume buttons for media, and toggle this option off. While you're here, set the Ringtone, Media, Notification and System volume levels to your preference by adjusting the sliders next to each category.
If you place your phone on Vibrate or Mute, then pressing the Volume Up/Down buttons on the side of the device should not enable Sound mode. If you head to Setting > Sounds and vibration, is 'Temporary mute' enabled? Please note that this option is only visible when 'Mute' is selected.

Does anyone know why when I'm driving and using my Google maps through the infotainment system the voice works sometimes but not everytime? Thanks
