Hi I can't connect my phone to my tv with Samsung smart view

Yes, you can if your TV supports screen mirroring.

You can do it by going to

Settings>Connected devices >Smart View

Or, via your SmartThings app

If 3rd party TV then...

*I've found it's best to switch the TV's input to screen mirror first BEFORE trying to connect*

If you're still having problems, please try clearing the Smart View cache

Settings>Apps. Tap the sort icon. Toggle on 'Show system apps '. Scroll down to 'Smart View' and tap on it. Tap Storage. Tap clear data and clear cache.

Swipe down notification panel, press the smat view icon the tv should appear here bearing in mind your TV needs to support Wi-Fi select tv in the list , first time icon should appear in the top right corner off tv select OK and then will connect

The app needs an update the sound sink is way out

Hi @bobshelby  Your Device need to be on the same wifi Network. A few additional ideas if you have continued problems connecting:

Long  press  the Standby buton your your Remote control for around 5 seconds until it Reboots,screen will turn Black initially in the process.

Reboot both your Device and your Tv.
