Samsung Contacts List

Hi, in my phone contacts list it no longer displays the company name so it is difficult to know out of all the eg 23 contacts called Lee, which one I need to call.

Can you please tell me how to switch this back on.

@markwev: If you tap on the relevant contact, then the Company/Work Info should be visible below the name and number. 

For visibility, as a workaround, you may wish to add the name of the company in brackets next to the Contact name.

Unfortunately there is no option to do that, the only way I have found so far is going in to the contact, edit, more details which quite frankly is ridiculous when you are trying to find a contact.

As for the workaround suggestion, I am sorry, but that is a really unprofessional approach to have to suggest from Samsung.  Considering Company Name used to be visible Samsung need to switch this back on urgently, honestly can't imagine this happening at Apple.

@markwev: When you click on a contact > Edit > View more > Work info > Company, and enter the Company name, are you making sure to hit 'Save'? If so, then the information should appear below the contact name and number after tapping on it, as per the above.

I have over 1,000 contacts and many of them have company names in already.  It is just that the Samsung Phone Ap no longer displays any details for company name, which is what I wanted to know how to change please.

Hi @markwev. It currently isn't possible to see the company name directly from the Phone app. In order to see this, you would need to tap on the contact, select the "i" icon, and this will bring up any additional information you have entered for this contact. 

I understand this is not the ideal solution for you, so I apologise if this causes you any inconvenience.

Not your fault, but what a ridiculous situation for Samsung to put their customers in, surely not only business users, but many others too, need to know the company details?
Such a disregard for the consumer.
