S23 ultra - signal and batter issues

Moved to a s23 ultra this week. Having nothing but issues with it. Phone recepetion is practically zero, switching network modes, flight mode, restarting is not doing anything to help.

120hz mode is laggy at times, and battery life at most is around 3 hrs sot, with low brightness watching media.

Running on latest update from january 2025. 

Feeling like i got a bad unit and about to return it. 

Has anyone else had similar problems and managed to fix them?

The S23 Ultra is, in my opinion, the best Samsung device yet (we haven't seen enough of the S25 Ultra yet) and I use one alongside my S24 Ultra.

I do not experience anything that you are reporting.

Did you buy the device brand new or second hand at all?

Device was purchased second hand, retailer ran checks before selling it. I have used samsungs own health checks and they all said the device is healthy.

In comparison to my base model s23 and 22 however, it does not seem to be operating how i would expect it to.

Factory Data Reset the device

If that doesn't resolve things, return it to retailer.

You should be feeling at least 8 hours SoT and mobile signal should be fine.

Have you checked the IMEI to check it isn't blacklisted

Sounds like a bad or dodgy unit to me have an s23u myself and totally works like a dream which it should do if its not been messed with.

Havent checked imei myself as i know the retailer checks before accepting anything.
