S23 Ultra; OS from 1st May 2024; SUPER DIM AND NO ADJUSTMENT

Good day All

I got the new update two days ago and since then the Auto dim adjusting option has been super dim all the time.  No matter what I do it doesn't change.  I tried a restart, shining a bright light on the camera; staying in the Sun, but nothing made any changes to the screen brightness.

I have used this function for years and had no problem until two days ago.  Do any of you experience the problem and/or do you have a solution to the problem?

Try wiping phone cache

Problem solved.  As most of the time, it is user-related and not device :D.  I figured out that I had activated at one point in time the EXTRA DIMM option and forgot that I did. 

Know that EXTRA DIMM over rights everything related to the screen brightness.
