Hey guys, Hope you are all well.
I have a question about the s23 ultras 45w charging capability.
Whenever i view the charging speed via a 3rd party application, it never says 45w (even tho ive got a 45w charger and a 65w charger for my laptop). Is this normal and how reliable would a 3rd party application be to measure the speed or charging? Thanks.

Ps - i will post more reviews/experiences with the other appliances soon.
(Also keep an eye out as im recieving a Zflip6 to review soon👀)

Same as EV chargers, it's the peak charging speed quoted, not necessarily a constant 45w... So if your phone is at 10% battery, the charger should get to 45w... Once it gets past say 80%, it will likely reduce.

If the s23 ultra charges around an hour, I would say it's working as it should. Third party apps may not be so accurate.

Ah that explains it, not an issue just a query. Really appreciate your reply.

There's actually a video on youtube of 45w vs 25w vs 15w and 25w looks like the sweet spot as it charges to 100% before the 45w it's faster up until around 60% then slows dramatically

I have a 25W charger for my 23 ultra and it charges my phone before the 45W one does I tested the theory from the video on youtube I watched the 45W reduces dramatically more than the 25W charger it's strange
