Sounds like excuses... If you sell devices with a guarantee to provide security updates, you are obliged to do that... Look after your existing customers, who have invested in expensive smartphones, and employ enough engineers to do your software R&D... Sound like Samsung is more interested in profits.. and keeping shareholders happy.. and endless push of new devices, and not supported properly.

I have said for some time that I would avoid future Samsung smartphones. They cannot support their existing commitments, have a weak OTA update process, and focus on home markets rather than the larger customer bases in Europe and North America. Buy an Android device from a company hungry for your business and keen to develop and nurture device loyalty. Samsung is poor at communicating, slow to innovate, and always misses the mark with software delivery.
